From los Bravos to Rosalía

The Billboard Hot 100 weekly has been recording the sales, streams, and plays of the most listened-to songs in the United States since 1958. Since then, eight Spanish musicians, singers, and bands have entered the top 100.

Los Bravos, with Black is Black, were the first group to enter the list in 1966, reaching number four. Rosalía, with her song Beso, featuring Rauw Alejandro, is the latest to appear on the list. Enrique Iglesias, with 25 songs, is the Spanish musician with the most presence on the list, with 348 weeks in the top 100.

In this work, Galocha aims to visualize the 43 songs by Spanish artists that remained a total of 576 weeks on the top 100 of the list from 1958 to 2024.
